| after not putting much thought into it i've started compiling a list of work-isms. just things that it pays to observe and remember. | |
| the only present that i want is to spend time with family and friends. yes, i know that sounds goofy, trite, and insincere. but, it's true. many repeated attempts to discourage people from buying me presents has resulted in me finally conceding and putting together a presents list. don't use it. a phone call. an email. all are better than a wrapped gift. |

i've started trying some of the social networking sites. i find Facebook an interesting experience. its reach is impressive. its ability to help reestablish long lost connections is ... well ... it's fun. Google+ is turning into an interesting experience. i will enjoy it more when more of my friends are there.
LinkedIn is less fun but still pretty-dang useful. |
